Our Commitment to Responsible Gaming
At Gyverz Casino Hotel, we are committed to promoting a responsible gaming environment. We believe that gaming should be an enjoyable form of entertainment, not a means of financial gain or escape from problems. We strive to ensure that all our guests have a positive and balanced gaming experience.
This policy outlines our approach to responsible gaming and the resources available to help our guests maintain healthy gambling habits.
Responsible Gaming Principles
Our responsible gaming program is built on the following principles:
- Gaming should be for entertainment purposes only
- Gaming should be done in moderation and within personal limits
- Gaming should not interfere with daily responsibilities or personal relationships
- Gaming decisions should be made thoughtfully and not under emotional distress
- Never chase losses or view gaming as a way to make money
Age Restrictions
All guests must be at least 21 years of age to enter the casino floor or participate in any gaming activities at Gyverz Casino Hotel. We strictly enforce this policy and conduct age verification checks at casino entrances.
Valid government-issued photo identification is required for entry to the casino and for any cash transaction over $1,000.
Tools for Responsible Gaming
Self-Limits
We offer various voluntary limit-setting options to help you manage your gaming activity:
- Time Limits: Set restrictions on how long you play in a single session or within a day
- Deposit Limits: Restrict how much money you can deposit into your player account
- Loss Limits: Set a maximum amount you're willing to lose in a specified time period
- Wager Limits: Restrict the amount you can wager within a specified time period
To set any of these limits, please speak with a casino host or visit the player services desk.
Self-Exclusion Program
For guests who wish to stop gambling completely, we offer a self-exclusion program. By enrolling in this program, you can voluntarily ban yourself from the casino for a specified period or permanently.
During the self-exclusion period, you will not be permitted to enter the casino floor, and we will remove you from all marketing lists. Any attempt to enter the casino during this period will result in removal and possible legal consequences.
To enroll in the self-exclusion program, please speak with our responsible gaming coordinator or visit the player services desk.
Signs of Problem Gambling
Problem gambling can affect anyone. Being aware of the warning signs can help you identify if your gaming habits are becoming unhealthy:
- Spending more time or money on gambling than intended
- Neglecting work, family, or personal responsibilities due to gambling
- Borrowing money or selling possessions to gamble
- Attempting to win back losses ("chasing losses")
- Lying about gambling habits or hiding gambling activity
- Feeling irritable or restless when not gambling
- Using gambling as an escape from problems or negative feelings
- Gambling despite negative consequences to finances, relationships, or mental health
If you recognize any of these signs in yourself or someone you know, we encourage you to seek help from the resources listed below.
